Recent Events Statement. Submitted to Eastland Today on Monday June 16, 2025
My name is Thom Cameron and I am one of your newly elected City Commissioners. I have drafted the following to help all parties better understand some of the complexities associated with this matter. It is long, but should help clarify much of the mis-information that is spreading on various channels. As I make this statement to provide clarity and transparency I do ask that the contents of this statement are shared in whole and not dissected in a fashion that it loses the intended context.
First I will clarify a few things related to the City and Commission structure.
