City of Ranger to hold 2-week clean-up effort

By Tommy Wells The City of Ranger is getting serious about improving the community.

The Ranger City Council coted unanimously to stage a 2-week clean-up effort at its June 23 meeting in Ranger City Hall. As part of the effort, residents with current water bills will be able to dispose of household refuse at the city dump free of charge during the third and fourth weeks of July.

Dump size will be limited to trailers of 16 feet or less. Additionally, tires, microwaves, wire of any size and hazardous/medical waste will not be accepted.
