Gorman Volunteer Fire Department held an afternoon to show off their new pumper truck and to perform the ceremony of pushing the new truck into beautiful truck and has already been used on a fire call right after it was delivered. My thanks go out to everyone involved in applying received allowing us to receive the new truck: Ag Commissioner Sid Miller, Fire Chief Cogburn, all our fire fighters, Tacy Warren, and Grantworks. It would be difficult survive without the grants we receive for things like fire department equipment, city vehicles, water treatment facilities, water tower repairs and replacement and more. We are hoping to apply for grants in the future to help with things like sewer and water line replacement, street repairs, and
continued downtown improvements.
