Gorman City Commission convened for their July meeting on Thursday, July 3. Present at the meeting were Commissioners Bill Miears and Robert Ervin, Mayor David Perry and City Manager Tacy Warren. Following Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance, Mayor Perry called the meeting to order. Bills and Minutes of the previous meeting were approved. In Citizens Forum, Mary Jo Dugan reported the Gorman Food Bank had received the 2 new freezers, which would be a big help in keeping perishable items (such as meat). Kenneth Welch brought to attention dilapidated and unkept property which needed to be addressed. Mayor Perry assured that notices had been sent not only to the property owner of the above, but also others in Gorman.
