Five players, along with one volunteer, from the Eastland Old Rips Granny Basketball team, participated in the 2025 National Tournament held July 11-13, 2025 in Fort Worth.
The tournament raised money for the “Tara Sawyer Foundation “ and “Cooks Childrens Hospital”. Over 360 “grannies” from all over the United States, proved that age is only a limitation if we let it be. Granny Basketball is a “gentle game for women of a certain age”.
