Green Ribbons honor Flood Victims

Green Ribbons honor Flood Victims

Green ribbons tied to trees and structures are currently being used to honor the victims of the devastating floods in Central Texas. Specifically, they are a tribute to the lives lost at Camp Mystic, a summer camp that was heavily impacted by the floods.

The ribbons are a visible symbol of support and a way for communities to express their grief and solidarity with those affected by the tragedy. (Photo to the L.) Cisco Post Office has tied ribbons on trees and stairways. (Photo: Sheila Hickox)
