Eastland Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Clay Taylor, former Chief Operating Officer of Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX, has officially assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2025.
A 1984 graduate of Eastland High School, Clay brings over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience across rural and urban settings. He began his healthcare career in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City, TX. Since then, he has held key leadership roles in hospitals and health systems in Denver City, Brownfield, Plainview, and most recently, Lubbock.
Clay grew up in Eastland and has deep ties to the community. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lubbock Christian University and a Master of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University.
