Margaret Jo Gailey Obituary

Margaret Jo Gailey Obituary

Margaret Jo Gailey, age 91, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at her home in Strawn, Texas. Born on February 4, 1934, in LaCasa, Texas to Marlow and Ruth Langford.  Margaret lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith and family.  Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-five years, Bob Gailey.

A devoted member of Leon River Cowboy Church, Margaret’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved Jesus with a deep and steady devotion—a quiet faith that shaped how she lived, how she loved, and how she showed up for others. Her spiritual foundation overflowed into the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy is one of unwavering love and steadfast belief.

Margaret found joy in the simple beauty of life—especially in bluebonnets blooming in the Spring.  She had a passion for hunting arrowheads and loved to fish. She also held a lifelong affection for the Texas Rangers baseball team.
