is entering his second year as Head Football Coach at Cisco College. He was successful his first year, leading the Wranglers to the conference playoffs with a surprising 4-4 record. With the first scrimmage of the 2025 season approaching Friday, Aug. 22, at McMurry University, “Coach Riz” is working to go further this year, thanks in great part to the help of seven Assistant Coaches.
Coach Shane Smith
Coach Shane Smith has been promoted to Assistant Head Coach and is also the Co-Offensive Coordinator and Recruiter. He joined the Cisco staff in June 2023. Originally from Albuquerque, N.M., he was a defensive tackle for University of Kansas Jayhawks from 20092013.
