CISCO COLLEGE-- It’s not often that one sees a 7-month-old baby girl in the Men’s Football Locker Room at Cisco College, but Magnolia Smith is special. She’s the daughter of Assistant Head Football Coach Shane Smith, who brought his daughter “to the office” on picture day. She pretty much had free rein in the locker room with 7 assistant coaches keeping an eye on her. The coaches had a successful scrimmage against the McMurry University War Hawks last Friday, with the Wranglers winning 14-0. Their next scrimmage will be against Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas, on Saturday, Aug. 30. The season officially begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, with a non-conference game against Coffeeville Community College in Coffeeville, Kansas. (Photo by Linda Spetter)
