Bulldogs net win over Walnut Springs via forfeit

The Ranger Bulldogs opened the 2025 football season with a win without even having to break a sweat.

The Bulldogs were awarded a season-opening 2-0 victory over the Walnut Springs Hornets in non-district action. Walnut Springs notified RHS school officials earlier in the week they did not have enough healthy players to take to the field.

Ranger, under new head coach Mark Thomas, will return to action on Friday when they face Woodson.
