Fourth-quarter Drive Lifts Loboes To Win Over Bucks

When the chips were down, the Cisco Loboes found all of the right answers on Friday night in front of a large crowd at Buckaroo Stadium in Breckenridge. It didn’t hurt that the Buckaroos gave away the answers on a crucial defensive test in an 1814 non-district test.

With the win, Cisco claimed its second straight win over a Class 3A opponent and, more importantly, moved to 2-1 for the season. Breckenridge suffered its second consecutive narrow loss and fell to 1-2.

Cisco’s defense 0 with the help of a penalty- prone Buck offense - came up with a big stand late in the third that saved the Loboes’ win. After a short punt had all set Breckenridge up deep in Cisco territory, the Bucks marched to the Lobo 9.
