Katie Thompson Promoted To CC Financial Aid Director

Katie Thompson has been promoted to Financial Aid Director at Cisco College, according to Dr. Jerry Dodson, Vice President for Student Services.

Thompson, a native of Springtown, has lived in Cisco for 20 years, since 2005, and had worked as a Financial Aid Counselor at the college since 2018. Her promotion came about as the previous Director, Linda Sellers, retired in August after 25 years at Cisco College.

Thompson received her associate's degree from Cisco College in 2020; a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from McMurry University in 2024; and a master’s degree in Administrative Leadership from Angelo State University in 2025.
