Rendezvous With Writing
A book launch team is a group of people that help spread the word about your new book. There are three ways your team can help: post early book reviews, spread the word through social media, and host an in-person event.
If you follow any book-reviewer blogs or author blogs (you should if you’re a writer), reach out with an advance e-copy of your upcoming book, and ask the blogger to read the book and post a review on his or her blog. Request that the blogger also post reviews to Goodreads, Bookbub, and Barnes & Noble. You can’t post a review before the release date on Amazon, but you can send the early reader a reminder to post there when the book is published.
