Abilene/Cisco, Texas– Cisco College will be hosting the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Lone Star Region rodeo on October 3rd and 4th in Abilene, Texas. This two-day event will be held at the Taylor County Expo Center in the Taylor Telecom Arena.
Rodeo athletes from nine colleges in the newly formed NIRA region will be invited to participate in the inaugural event. Hosted by Cisco College, the event will have more than 400 college rodeo athletes competing for two days. Angelo State University, Ranger College, Sul Ross State University, Tarleton State University, Vernon College and Weatherford College make up the Lone Star Region.
