By Tommy Wells Despite a solid offensive performance by Eastland, the Hawley Bearcats streaked to a 32-7 victory over the shorthanded Eastland Mavericks on Friday in WH RLVWLFW DOH for both squads.
With the win, Hawley improved to 3-2 for the season. Eastland, which competed in the contest with several starters sitting out due to injuries, fell to 0-5 heading into their District 5-3A opener on October 10 against Clifton.
The Mavericks HERH RIIHVH continued to show signs of life, especially at the start of the third quarter.
