Eastland County Water Supply District’s General Manager, Chad Roberts attended the Texas Water Utility Association’s 107th Annual State School this September in Waco. This is where ECWSD entered the water contest with a sample from the water treatment plant and won best tasting surface water. This is ECWSD’s first State win. ECWSD has recently also won two regional awards, best overall water in May 2023 and best tasting surface water in May 2025 .The district board of directors would like to contribute this win to a strong dedicated team which includes the general manger, plant operators and staff whom all work hard and diligently to produce the best quality water possible and continue to strive for excellence.
