For Dysautonomia/ POTS Syndrome Awareness Month, we want to share the story of Audie Seay — a Gorman High faith, and fortitude inspire everyone around him.
Audie (pictured center) has been battling Dysautonomia/POTS, a condition that can cause dizziness, fainting, brain fog, and extreme fatigue. There were times when he was told to give up athletics altogether. But thanks to a group of coaches who refused to give up on him — he’s still part of the team and still chasing his goals.
A huge shoutout to Coaches Brady Hibbitts, Asael Maldonado, Landon Morrow, and De’Netro Clifton, who have gone above and beyond to support Audie — checking on him daily, keeping his supplements available, and learning how to best meet his needs.
