By Tommy Wells The Ranger Bulldogs couldn’t wait an extra day to get a glimpse of the top-rated team in the state.
Ranger High School officials announced on Monday the Bulldogs’ district showdown with Gordon had been rescheduled for Thursday as part of a doubleheader with their junior high team. The game was rescheduled due to a lack of available officials on Friday.
Ranger enters the contest at 3-3, including a gutsy effort against fourthranked Strawn two weeks ago. Gordon, which has won each of the last two Division I six-man state titles and owns the state’s longest current win streak at 35 games, is 6-0.
