Cisco’s Wildfire Mitigation Team and Police Department Collaborate to Clear Trash-Filled Property

CISCO, TEXAS — The Cisco Wildfire Mitigation and the Cisco Police Department completed the cleanup of a heavily trash-filled property led property from 9/22/2025 9/25/2025 as part of the city’s ongoing effort to reduce wildfire risk, improve neighborhood safety, and promote community pride.

The property, which had become a significant health and safety concern due to excessive debris and overgrown vegetation, was identified as a high wildfire hazard and a potential public nuisance. Working together, the City’s Code Enforcement, Police Department, and Wildfire Mitigation coordinated the safe removal of all trash, scrap materials, and combustible debris.

“This cleanup represents another step forward in keeping our community safe and resilient,” said Anthony Koch, Wildfire Mitigation Coordinator. “By addressing properties that pose both wildfire and public health risks, we are protecting homes, improving our neighborhoods, and showing what teamwork between city departments can achieve.”
