4-H and FFA graduating high school seniors in the Eastland County area are eligible to apply for the AgYouth of the Month Scholarship Program that AgTexas Farm Credit created ten years ago.
So far, the program has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to students in the 43 counties that AgTexas serves. In addition to the $20,000 awarded in $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors, AgTexas will present awards to a graduate student and a 4-H or FFA leader in each of the three regions that the Ag cooperative serves.
The graduate scholarships will be presented to previous AgYouth of the Month scholarship recipients in the amounts of $2,000, $3,000, and $10,000. AgTexas will also provide a $1,000 award for the outstanding 4-H or FFA leader in each region. Applications are due at noon on Friday, October 24.
