Unfortunately for the Mavericks, Brady did even better.
Brady rolled up more than 500 total yards and scored four times in the third quarter en route to cruising to a 70-31 victory in a key District 5-3A showdown. As a team, Brady scored nine rushing touchdowns, including three by running back Ashton Taylor, who chewed up 132 yards on the ground.
