Quilts of Valor Day Held at Eastland Library

A Quilts of Valor Day was held at Eastland Centennial Memorial Library Friday. The event was “Come and Go” from noon - 6PM and was open from ages 8+. Participants could bring their own machine and notions. The quilt will be presented to a veteran of Eastland County. 4-H member Tatum Allison lead out in the quilting activities. Beautiful quilt squares in patriotic colors and images were being pieced together as we visited Friday. Pictured above: Saylor Monty and Tatum Allison working on the quilt squares.
