Glenn Open Door Executive Director Shannon Thompson and Speaker Rev. John Ensor challenged attendees and God’s people to live out the action of bearing the cross for women and children in saving both lives. This was the theme at the Open Door Life Event on Oct 21st.
There is no storm or stronghold stronger than the power of God’s redeeming grace and ability to overcome the storm. The Open Door Director explained the literal & cultural storms the pregnancy center has experienced this past year with devas-WDWLJRRGLJDGDLO damage to the center in Cisco, damaging the building, supplies, and equipment and the new wave of non-controlled (FDA) mail order chemical abortion pills that are impacting the lives of the unborn and mothers. Chemical abortion is not legal in Texas, but it happens every day with these pills.
However overwhelming the situation has seemed, it was pointed out the Foundation of God and the Open Door’s mission is stronger, and what he began as a good work he has restored. The center is back in full operation and thriving including the blessings of two new 3D ultrasound machines that were given to the center which allows more mothers to hear and see the heartbeat. “The heartbeat changes everything” theme was revealed in it changes hearts and minds in mothers and families.
