Head Baseball Coach David White’s dream of a new, high-tech pitching lab on the Cisco College campus is becoming reality. The concrete foundation of the 90-foot building was poured Thursday, and the building is expected to go up this week.
“It is framed, and we are pouring concrete today,” White said on Thursday. “We’ve raised enough money to put the building up. Dr. Anglin (Dr. Thad Anglin, College President) and Robert (Robert Anderson, Director of Plant Operations) are going to help us with the electrical part of it.”
“Then we've got to come up with turf nets, spray foam, mounds,” White said. “If we want to do it really nice, we need probably about $25,000 more. We’re close. We’ve raised over $100,000, and then the school helping with the electrical is a big deal.”
