Colby McIlroy rushed for 169 yards and Noaa Hernandez added 103 more on Friday and helped the Cisco Loboes run to a 35-14 victory over the Anson Tigers in a big District 4-2A showdown. As a team, the Loboes rushed the ball 52 times for 280 yards.
With the win, Cisco improved to 8-1 overall and clinched the district championship heading into Friday’s game with Olney. Anson dropped to 6-3 overall and into a tie with Olney for fourth in the district the final two frames.
