Cisco ISD offers a program for students in grades K–12 who demonstrate above-average potential in academic and productive thinking skills. This gifted education program is designed to challenge students and provide opportunities to accelerate beyond the regular school curriculum.
Anyone wishing to refer a student believed to be an intellectually gifted learner is encouraged to visit the appropriate campus office to complete the necessary forms. Alternatively, you may email James Taylor at jtaylor@cisco. esc14.net to request a referral form.
Referred students will undergo a screening process that includes a variety of assessments, with testing scheduled between December and February. Parents will be asked to provide permission for testing at the time of referral.
