With hearts shattered beyond anything words can hold, our family announces the passing of Joshua Lee Gutierrez, our tender, gentle, deeply loved young man who gained his heavenly rest on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at only 18 years old. Joshua’s life was a quiet, steady blessing — a soft light in a world that often felt too heavy for him — and losing him has forever changed the shape of our family.
Born on July 8, 2007, in Graham, Texas, Joshua grew up in Breckenridge and was a proud member of the Breckenridge High School Class of 2025. He was talented with his hands and spent his time working alongside his granddad, learning the trades of a mechanic hand and operator. Joshua was the kind of young man who picked up skills quickly, helped without being asked, and always showed up for those he loved.
In his free time, Joshua loved being active — shooting hoops, lifting weights, and skateboarding with his brothers. He enjoyed music, driving around town, and being with friends. His gentle smile, quiet humor, and tender, loyal heart made him someone people felt safe around. He was sensitive in a beautiful way — deeply feeling and full of love he often didn’t know how to express.
