The minute Nicole Smith saw Ja’Kerra Holt and Alondra Esparza step on the volleyball court, she knew she had two quality middle blockers to build a team around.
That’s the same way Texas A&M-Texarkana and Southwestern Christian University felt on Thursday afternoon when they signed the two Ranger College stars. Holt inked a deal with TAMU-Texarkana, while Esparza signed with SCU in Bethany, Oklahoma.
“We’re losing two great players,” said Smith. “We’re sad to be losing them but excited to see them get the chance to move on and continue their educations and careers.”
