In preparation of July 4, 2026 celebration of the 250th anniversary of our great country thanks to the American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit, visitors can immerse themselves in the captivating narrative of the American Revolution using state-of-the-art technology and illustrations. American history is bursting with incredible stories of heroes, from Thomas Jefferson, Bernardo de Galvez, and George Washington, to the lesser-known but equally brave patriots who made enormous of liberty. Some colonists even risked everything, including their relationships with friends and family, by supporting the British.
Originating from its award-winning website, the American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit is a partnership between the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Trust. Through display panels and interactive digital kiosks, the exhibit surfaces diverse viewpoints and experiences, delving into the literal of Patriots, Loyalists, men, women, Black and Native populations, and international allies. It introduces audiences to the drummer boys, military mapmakers, and other ordinary individuals deeply affected by global events.
Recently, the Texas Society DAR purchased the exhibit and added two additional panels, each explaining the contribution of what is now Texas, to the Revolutionary War. The American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit will tour the state for the next three years.
