Cisco Police Department Recognized For “Outstanding Support” of the United States Customs and Border Patrol

Cisco Police Department has been recognized for “Outstanding Support” to the United States Customs and Border Patrol. Chief Kenneth Preston received this letter of gratitude in a leather bound portfolio in November. CPD maintains a great working relationship with federal authorities and often partners with USCBP and DHS in the apprehension of criminal and immigration violators. Lt. Lee Risdon who coordinated CPD’s efforts with USCBP and was assisted by the officers and staff of CPD in facilitating apprehension, transportation and detainment in this latest operation. Chief Preston stated “This is a great recognition of the efforts put forth by the members of this department. I am extremely proud of my officers and very thankful for the support of the men and women of the USCBP and DHS who work tirelessly to protect our country”.
