Little Theater Coming?

On the block across Lamar St. behind First Baptist Church in Eastland, something is under construction; folks are asking what’s going on there?

It’s doubtful that it’s going to be an old fashion open air tabernacle, since the age of air conditioning, there’s not any need for ‘cooler’ space for services.

Some has guessed and the early work is that it is going to be an outdoor performance center for music and drama events— primarily to give young folks and others the opportunity of “performing” or reciting scripture or maybe doing vocal exercises, or maybe Bible readings—Bible drills, or even inspirationals Bible and/or religious drama for the public.
