Tom Goodman, 90’s pastor First Baptist Church, Eastland - today, a writer and special historical researcher came to the county last week to introduce his new book “The Last Man” at a meet & greet that drew a good audience in the Connellee Hotel Lobby.
“The Last Man” he explained, is taking the story of the Santa Claus Bank Robbery in Cisco “a step further” rather than stopping at the hanging of Marshall Ratliff.
Unfortunately, the cover of his book didn’t get finished in time. Goodman came and held the crowd’s attention about where he dug up data and braved the fact that his historical document is presently without covers.
