It is with heavy hearts, but also great hope and joy that we announce David "Jack" Stephenson went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 3:35 AM.
Jack will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a committed member of the Church of Christ in Cisco, and was known in the community for his many years of service driving big rigs, delivery trucks, and cars for various companies and local car dealerships.
Jack was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Clara Huber, his paternal grandparents Archie and Annie Stephenson, his uncle Ike Watts, and Aunt Waldine Stephenson. He lost his parents, Jack and Clara Stephenson and brothers Archie, Donald, and Kenneth in May of 1951 in a car wreck. As the only survivor of that horrible accident, Jack lived a long and full life.
Survivors include his wife, Jerry, of the home; two daughters Bonnie (Loyd) White of Breckenridge, Vickie (Sean) Tudor of Yukon, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Ashley (Roman) Martinez of Mustang, Oklahoma, Stephanie (Will) McClammy of Glen Rose, Kortney (Richard) Nelson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Justin Nash (Kortnie) of Holden, Louisiana, Brian Nash (Cassity) of Sweetwater; and Josh Rear (Breanna) of Nacoma Park, Oklahoma; 14 great-grandchildren with another on the way, and many cousins.
A memorial service honoring Jack's life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 19, 2026, at Cisco Church of Christ.
