Carolyn Jean Holder Obituary

Carolyn Jean Holder, 56, passed peacefully from this life January 17, 2026. She was born January 26, 1969, in Eastland, Texas to Donald Carl Holder and Wilma Jean Martin Holder. Carolyn was raised in Desdemona and graduated from De Leon High School in 1987. She was a helpful homemaker for her parents and loved her family very much. Carolyn also dearly loved her cats. She will be missed beyond measure by all she knew and loved. She is survived by her parents, Donald and Wilma Holder; son, Michael Ray Phelps; brother, Donald Wayne Holder and wife, Stephanie; sister, Sherry Lynn Ables; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Carolyn has been reunited with her grandmother, Doris Wilma Huston Martin. In respect of Carolyn’s wishes, there will be no immediate services scheduled.
