Viola was born April (DVODG County, TX to J. (Jack) DG)ORUD,HUXUHOO Campbell. Viola married Odell Smith on December 7H VDUHG HDUV RJHHU raising their son DG RXU GDXJHUV at their home in the Sharon Community.
Sadly, Odell passed in )HEUXDU DHU in November 2001, Viola married Harvey 6RU 7H R R them enjoyed traveling to Texas, especially DPO UHXRV Cisco until his health declined and he passed away in February 2022.
Viola was small in stature but was very spirited and known RU HU HVHVV 6H had several names and titles, w H PRHU
Viola, Bolie, Aunt Bolie, Sis and her DRUH 0DPD 6H was a hard worker and believed in staying busy. Through the years she worked at 7 .X HHOHUV excelled in selling RDGUHUHGURP the US Postal Service as a rural letter carrier.
Viola loved working in her yard, watching HU RHUV JUR DG bloom and watching the birds, especially hummingbirds.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Odell Smith and Harvey Story and her beloved son, James Odell Smith. Viola is also preceded in death by her parents; Jack and Flora Campbell, brothers; Ed Campbell and Roy Gene Campbell, sisters; Frances Miller, Velma XGDGH6RU
She is survived by her brother, Johnny Campbell R ORRPHOG 1H Mexico, Daughters; Flora (Phil) Sims, GD OO OO Betty (Billy) Gray and Susan (Mike) ODNHHGDXJHU ODXG6P Her grandchildren are Michael (Bridget) Sims, Jamye (Tim) Adams, Daniel (Monica) Hill Ashley 7P HDUG HHU (Bruce) Gable, Jacky (Tuddy) Spradley, Julie (Shea) Smith, Nathan ORH UD .D 0DDDHHU Blakeney, and Matthew (Holly Blakeney).
7HUH DUH JUHD grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Viola also leaves behind her bonus son and loving neighbor, Joey Toler.
Services were held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home DXUHO 0VVVVSS Visitation is scheduled D DP XHUDO VHUFH ROORJD 10:00 a.m. at Memory Chapel.
