The Cisco Lady Loboes will head into the Class 2A state playoffs with a sweet notice on their resume. They’re ranked in the Top 5 in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ final regular season poll.
Now 29-2, the Lady Loboes roll into the final week of the regular season sporting a 29-2 mark. Cisco has already clinched the District 8-2A championship and will head into the playoffs as the district’s top seed. Panhandle and Mason were the only teams ranked above Cisco in the Feb. 9 poll. The reigning No.1 squad, Panhandle is 29-1 overall. Mason is 34-1.
Martins Mill and Whiteface round out the top five spots in the 2A poll.
