John Caraway, Professor of History and Government at Cisco College, was interviewed last week about the Lela Latch Lloyd Museum in Cisco. He has taken over running the museum in a labor of love and respect for the late Dr. Duane K. Hale, who started the museum along with others in 2000. Dr. Hale, who was a longtime history professor at Cisco College, passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 82.
I heard that you are going to make the Lela Latch Lloyd Museum in Cisco your life’s work.
What drew you to this museum?
