The Peaster Lady Greyhounds spoiled the Eastland Lady Mavericks bid for a postseason playoff berth on Monday by grinding out a 3026 victory in a district tie-breaker on February 13 in Mineral Wells.
With the win, Peaster secured the district fourth-place playoff berth. Eastland, which struggled down the final stretch, finished fifth.
Peaster, with the win, advanced to face Jacksboro in the bi-district round of the Class 3A playoffs.
