On a recent edition of Rip’s Report, Eastland County Today reporter Levi Freeman interviewed Eastland County Joint Elections Administrator Temi Nichols to share important information ahead of the upcoming primary elections. Nichols, who oversees all aspects of election administration for the county, outlined key dates and procedures to help voters prepare and participate in the democratic process.
Early voting will begin Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, and continue through Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, with Election Day set for Tuesday, March 3, 2026. During the interview, Nichols reviewed early voting locations, voting hours, and recent changes involving paper ballots, reminding voters to familiarize themselves with any updates before heading to the polls. She also emphasized the importance of verifying polling locations and voting requirements in advance and encouraged community participation.
