New Book tells story of Ranger’s legendary Marston House

As part of Ranger College’s Alumni Weekend, alumna Jennifer Neville Maddle will give a presentation and discussion of her latest book, Marston House, at 2:00 pm Saturday Feb. 28, at Goleman Library on the Ranger College campus. The public is invited to attend.

The presentation will be followed by a book signing at 3:00 pm.

Marston House is the story of a house that was well known in Ranger before it was demolished in April 2025. The book is billed as “part memoir, part story.” It explores the lives of longtime Ranger residents and business owners Hall Walker, Azaline Pulley, and Audrey Yonker, and their connections to the house on Marston Street, attempting to answer the questions, “Why was the house never sold?” and “Who was the only woman Hall Walker ever truly loved?”
