Rendezvous With Writing

The Cisco Writers Club hosted songwriter and musician Jerry McCoy at the club’s first-Thursday meeting. McCoy spoke about his childhood in Eastland and how he was surrounded by music at all times. His mother sang and whistled around the house (constantly, according to McCoy). He was a regular church goer and learned the hymns. He was active in the church’s youth group which had a guitar- and-song program.
