On March 12,2026, at 6:45 am, the Ranger Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at Wild Will’s Saloon and Dancehall. Upon arrival a working fire was declared due to heavy fire conditions. Auto matic aid was received from the Olden, Eastland, Cisco, Carbon, Gorman, and Desdemona fire departments. RVFD added: “The Ranger Fire Department appreciates the support from our neighboring departments and is grateful for the community’s generosity in providing meals for our firefighters today.” Legendary country groups and singers performed at Wild Will’s until its closing around 3 months ago.
