Patricia Anne Banks of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Rockwall, Texas. She is remembered with love by her many family members and friends.
Patricia dedicated her life to music and service. She taught private piano lessons in Fort Worth, Texas, for nearly 20 years and served as a teaching fellow and adjunct professor of music at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Later, she retired as an associate professor of music from Howard Payne University. Following her retirement from teaching, Patricia continued to serve her community as a Deacon at St. John's Anglican Church in Brownwood and Holy Trinity Church in Eastland, Texas. She also worked as a Hospice Chaplain and volunteered as a Chaplain at Brownwood Regional Hospital.
A service to honor Patricia’s life will be held on May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Brownwood, Texas.
