The Sewing Circle of the Desdemona activity center received gifts of fabric and sewing supplies from Jackie Bell of Dawson County this week. A generous donor to the Sewing Circle, Jackie is the sister of Justin Bell of Gorman. The Sewing Circle and Luncheon regularly meets on the fourth Monday of each month.
Note: the group will not meet in April due to the annual garage sale at the DAC. It will resume again in the month of May. Congratulations to Sandra Scott of the DAC Sewing Circle for receiving a blue ribbon at the Houston stock show and rodeo this year! Her beautiful, award winning quilt was displayed at the DAC recently.
