In a previous article I expressed my frustrations with the WOKE culture as it seeks to alter the nomenclature of human conversation. One such word is MARRIAGE.
For years we have had civil ceremonies such as students receiving diplomas; installation of judges and presidents, leaders and board members, opening of new businesses, etc. These were never called marriages. Civil ceremonies connect people to things, assignments, duties and such. Marriage unites the lives of two people that are male and female. The Old Testament gives us about four thousand years of human history prior to the coming of Christ. Two thousand years brings us to today. For about six thousand years everyone has known that a marriage is between a man (male) and a woman (female). Yet the WOKE climate is injecting into the moral fabric of American culture an anti-godly definition of the term ‘marriage’. Two people of the same sex have had civil ceremonies for awhile now, but not marriage, nor will it ever be marriage (unless you try to rewrite God’s Word). God pretty much settled what marriage is in the beginning of human history when HE (GOD) made man and woman; and that a man (male) would leave his father (that’s a male) and leave his mother (that’s female) and leave his mother (that’s a female) and cleave unto his wife (that’s a female). We are easily identified as having either male body parts or with female body parts that qualify us for marriage and the role of husband or wife. It seems to me this woke culture has totally abandoned God and common sense and needs to hear the good news that lives can be changed by the power of the Christ.
(By the way, you are reading this article because a male and female produced you and your mom didn’t believe in abortion.)
