Ranger Men’s Basketball Earns Trip To National Tournament in Kansas

This past week, the Ranger College Men's Basketball Team earned a trip to the National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

This past week, the Ranger College Men's Basketball Team earned a trip to the National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

With a brand new team and coaching staff, the Rangers received the #11 overall seed with one of the eight atlarge selections to the National tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. During their successful season , they earned several postseason honors and awards.

Head Coach TJ Cox earned the Coach of the Year his first season as a Head Coach. Tayton Conerway picked up the Player of the Year, All-Region, and First-Team All-Conference honors. BJ Comer picked up the Defensive Player of the Year Award. Mykell Robinson was named All-Region and First Team All-Conference, while Shay Davis earned First-Team All-Conference, and Derrick Daniels picked up Second- Team All-Conference.
