Gorman ISD has a new PK-12 Principal, Mr. Shelby Sharp. If you have an opportunity, please welcome him and his family. He and his family are busy getting settled in their new home. I think next year is going to be a great one!
Isn’t it great that we are getting all this rain, but it is sure keeping me busy mowing the yard. My thanks to everyone else that is keeping their yards looking great! By the way, I hate looking at properties and sending out citations and I certainly don’t want to have to send one to myself. Believe me, I do take the weather into consideration when surveying properties. However, rain has nothing to do with the accumulation of stuff (my nicest description) sitting in yards that are unsightly, unsanitary, a home for rodents and a fire hazard. Remember that if the fire department can’t access your property due to stuff in your yard, they may not be able to save your home if you or your neighbor has a fire! Have some pride and take care of what you have and be thankful for it!
