This week looks

This week looks like a classic Texas summer, with lots of sunshine, warm temperatures, and plenty of wind. Highs will start out near 98 degrees on Monday before cooling slightly into the mid-90s by Wednesday. Breezy conditions will stick around through the week, with partly cloudy skies expected on Thursday before mostly sunny weather returns on Friday. If you’re making plans for Independence Day on Saturday, be prepared for a hot and windy celebration. High temperatures will climb into the upper 90s, with some places possibly reaching 100 degrees. Wind gusts could reach up to 41 mph, so be extra careful with decorations, tents, and anything that could blow away. By Sunday, skies will become mostly cloudy, and there will be a chance for a thunderstorm as another weather system moves in. Even better news, next week is looking much wetter, with several chances for rain and storms that could finally bring some relief from the summer heat.

Whether you’re celebrating the Fourth of July or just spending time outside this week, remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and keep an eye on the forecast. And as always, don’t be scared, be prepared!
