It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Marceil Laminack, 86, passed away in the comfort of her own home, in Gorman, surrounded by her loved ones on July 1, 2026.
She was born on February 4, 1940, in Sipe Springs, Texas, to R.V. and Dolse (Zellars) Underwood. She graduated from Carbon High School, but before she went on to do anything else, she married her best friend and the love of her life, Donald Wayne Laminack on September 27, 1957, at the Gorman Church of Christ.
Marceil was far from being idle, she worked for the post office as a carrier, she taught the young children at church, she was a Mary Kay beauty consultant since 1992, and she was a gardener, but the most rewarding job for her was being a wife and a mother.
